Posted By Bob Matthews Dear All, Is there any rule or whatever against some one using "IOSH Affiliated" on their leterheads? As this is a true statement I can't see any problems, but what do IOSH and members think?

Posted By Robert K Lewis But what does it mean? Any one can pay their subs to be an Affiliate. It will no doubt become a useful smoke screen for the unscrupulous Bob

Posted By Hazel Harvey The only officially recognised use of the Institution by individual members is by the use of post-nominal letters. These are currently FIOSH and MIOSH with or without RSP, GradOSH and TechSP. No post-nominal letters are available to either associate or affiliate members. No member at any grade may use either the coat of arms or riband logo of the Institution, these being reserved for the use of the Institution as a body. The only exception to this is for licenced course providers of our safety awareness training programmes (Managing/Working Safely ets.) and then only in conjunction with the named course. Hope this clarifies the situation.
