I am interested in hearing from any H/C Professional who has had experience of audit software in the NHS.
GUHT is a large teaching hospital trust and we are moving towards web based solutions to many of our Risk Management problems.
Any system we adopt will have to be web compatible, interact with Microsoft Office applications, flexible and customisable and have an effective tracking and closeout loop.
Not asking much! but would appreciate advice from those who've used any of the common (or uncommon) packages out there.
Best regards,

No experience of such things I'm afraid but you could try the usual suspects - Safecode were planning a networked verion of their audit package some time ago - try them at Strathclyde University.
My Trust uses a Ulysses 2000 package, Safeguard, which I believe is superior to Safecode. Their excellent support team can be contacted on 0238 0238 108. Their audit system is based, I think, on the NHS Controls Assurance scheme but don't take my word for it. Also on www.ulysses.co.uk.
