One of our staff has been diagnosed with MS and it has effected her ability to see contrast in one eye. Her optician has said that there is nothing that he can do for her by way of spectacles but suggested that she may find a flat LCD TFT screen is able to produce better contrast for her.
We've sent her off to the local computer store to have a look for herself but does anyone have any experience of this type of screen and the benefits/drawbacks of them?
Thanks

I have recently been dealing with people with special needs, and as such I attended an seminar run by Ability net it was very interesting it went into not meeting peoples needs through buying new equipment but to use the equipment already in place to it's full potential, it is well worth contacting them, I will try and find the telephone number to send to you, in the meantime try www.abiltynet.co.uk.
Hope this can help the person in question.
Regards
Darren
