Posted By STEVE Hi Has anyone had to sign a confidentiality agreement with regards to Safety? Whilst we are privy to personnel information when carrying out Incident/Accident Investigations should there be any need to go to these extremes. I am I right in thinking that if I was to investigate a Incident/Accident then this would already be common knoweldge to others so the agreement would be of no use? Is there any law/legislation requiring Safety Personel to sign to a Confidentiality Agreement. Any information would be most interesting,or where to seek additional information. Many thanks Steve

Posted By Laurie Steve While investigating your accident you may find out that a person fell because they became dizzy as a result of a medical condition such as diabetes, or MS. This may not be common knowledge, and should be treated in confidence. Laurie
