Posted By Adrian Watson Dear Martin, There's no short cut in this process. You'll have to use a current law citator, such as provided by Sweet & Maxwell. They are usually obtainable through public libraries. Regards Adrian

Posted By Ken Taylor Each day you can go to www.ukonline.gov.uk and then 'What's new in government?'. You can also visit the HSE site on hse.gov.uk and then 'What's new?'. You could also consider subscribing to Croner's or Gee's online update services. It's also worth visiting the sites of any government departments with which your work is involved (eg Education & Skills)- and, of course, read the IOSH and other health and safety publications!

Posted By peter gotch Martin, There is a software package called Safety on Site, SOS, which gives you full text of most of the Regs etc as amended with commentary on how and when the amendments were made. This means that if say you are dealing with a civil claim relating to an accident X years ago you can check the status of the Regs then rather than now. SOS are based in Great Yarmouth. Regards, Peter
