Posted By Jane Moody Can anyone help me with guidance to the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 ? I have a copy of the Statutory Instrument, but I am seeking guidance to compliance. I know this is not health and safety legislation but the IOSH site is the best I know for practical advice. Please do not point me to the Environment Agency. So far enquries made to the Environment Agency have revealed that they have very limited knowledge of these Regulations. Many thanks.

Posted By Jay Joshi Jane, I have included the website of the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) that has a leaflet version. You can also contact WRAS for more information www.wras.co.uk/PDFS/WRAS%20Regs 20leaflet.pdf

Posted By Jeff Manion At present to the best of my knowledge there is no guidance. The regulations were brought into place and then immediately amended. For "guidance" you would be best to obtain a copy of the old "water-bye laws" and then question water authorities for any awkward points
