With reference to comments made in respect of Paul McVicar's site:
On behalf of the Website co-ordinator and moderators, I wish to confirm that IOSH has at no time complained about Paul's site to his ISP, nor has IOSH made any attempts to have his site cease to operate. Any actions taken by Paul in respect of the continuation of his site are thus his own decision.
May I refer you all to the original response by Martin Bessant on behalf of all the moderators in Paul's thread headed "My apologies to all". To quote Martin there:
"The moderators have no wish to get involved with any non IOSH websites, but wish them and especially Paul good fortune in his ventures".
On the subject of links: as the links page indicates, it is currently under review and anyone wishing to nominate a site for inclusion in the links page should contact Angela Wheatcroft, Website co-ordinator, direct. Please do not post any nominations to the Discussion Forum. I shall be happy to include Paul's site in the review of links, if he so wishes.
On behalf of the moderators and Website co-odinator.
Liz Spencer

I have already, said, that IOSH did not contact, my service provider, in my original thread MY SAFETY SITE
paul mcvicar on 17.07.02 | 12:49
it was due to the amount of visitors,(hits) in such a short time, to a new site.
As regards the site, It will be updated, on Friday evening and will remain as is.
Thanks for all the information you have sent, and the support you have given.
