Posted By Lorna Morris I am trying to find someone to train the managers in the Social Services Dept. Most training providers have offered to 'tweak' standard courses but this won't meet our needs. Does anyone know of trainers with knowledge/experience of social work and our special requirements (ie. people not equipment based)?

Posted By Robert M Edwards We recommend and use one provider who has the expertise and can design courses to meet organisation, people and legislation needs. If you email me I am happy to discuss with you further.

Posted By Nigel Hammond Hi Lorna I am also looking for trainers to train our managers and directors. They run care homes for people with learning disabilities. Have you come across any trainers who are clued up on social care and can they do IOSH Directing or Managing Safely courses? Also have you downloaded the list of course providers off the IOSH web site? At the back are a couple of specialist courses aimed at care work. Regards Nigel
