Posted By ian mcnally There has been a good deal of recent talk of the HSE requesting a lifting plan for lift trucks on site eg; RT mast and / telehandlers. We use a Traffic Management Plan that covers separation of pedestrains and traffic with a Lifting Plan for craneage operations. Does anyone have a specific lifting plan for telehandlers they could let me use/intergrate into our TMP. If anyone would like a copy of a TMP I would be happy to help.

Posted By Robert K Lewis Don't forget 360's,Backactors, mini-excavators, mewpsetc are all lifting equipment. The concern of the plan should be the interaction of the various lifts. My first approach is really to define permitted areas of operation and then the roles and responsibilities of personnel in maintaining the permitted requirements. I tend towards an area controller who is able to communicate to all signallers as required, and who has authority to delay or prioritise any activity. Bob
