Posted By Diane Thomason One of our department heads wants some training for his staff on safe use of ladders and steps. So far he hasn't been able to find anything suitable from CITB or local colleges. I wondered if maybe training providers tend to include this in a wider course e.g. safe access, working at height etc. Does anyone know of specific training on ladders and steps? We are in Leicester. Regards Diane

Posted By Kevin West The CCNSG National Accredited Safety Passport Scheme (NASP) covers this topic (among others). The scheme is accredited by the ECITB (www.ecitb.org.uk) The ECITB have a database of all the training providers who deliver the NASP course. I am sure a number of these providers will deliver a short course on this subject if requested. Contact johncushing@ecitb.org.uk for a list of providers. If you require further assistance please contact me directly. Kev

Posted By Diane Thomason Thanks to all who have responded both here and "off-list" - I now have plenty of leads. Special thanks to Paul for the training material. Ken, I'll look up those CITB videos. Regards Diane
