Posted By robert cooper I am trying to find out if there is a permitted amount of special waste that can be returned mixed with ordinary dry waste in skips; i.e. contaminated rags, empty containers.I have been informed that approx 1% is permissable. Any help or guidance on where to look would be appreciated.

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Robert Strictly speaking, any mixture of special waste with ordinary, controlled waste is illegal but I suppose that a little leeway may be allowed. Paul
