Posted By Nick Fitzpatrick Can anyone tell me whether or not the assessments results arising from the use of an IOM sampler will be accurately indicative of the current situation, if the optimum flow rate of 2l/min (+/- 0.1l)was not maintained throughout the sampling period? Thanks

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Nick MDHS14/3 claims a sampling bias of +/-5% for the IOM sampler if the pump runs at 2+/-0.1 l/min. If the pump cannot maintain the appropriate flowrate then the error will increase; how much will depend on the departure of the flowrate from the optimum. Paul
