I'm trying to put some guidance together for senior managers on the importance of maintaining door closure mechanisms adequately and the consideration that should be given to ensuring sharp edges etc are removed from handles. Fairly recently, we had an employee "stabbed" by a door handle when the door was opened with some force, the handle causing a puncture wound to the individual standing behind the door. If anyone has a similar experience I'd be grateful if they could share it with me, perhaps even photographs of known "dangerous" handles that we could incorporate in our guidance.
