Posted By Michael Dunn It depends what it is you mean by 'Consultative Committees'. Have you been formally requested by two of your H&S Representatives to establish one under the Safety Representatives and Safety Committee Regs 1977 (as amended)? If this is the case then the guidance notes under regulation 9 will give you as reasonable set of ideas as any. Even if you have not been asked to establish this kind of committee they are still good guidelines. The important thing is that what ever you are establishing ... that it works as a two way forum that can promote better, safer working.
