Posted By Raj I am looking fora detailed job description for a safety officer. I understand that it is an advisory job where he identifies H&S Concerns and recommend preventive measures to senior Management who in turn cascade it to line-Managers for implementation. Safety being the line manager's responsibility.he should also identify Training needs, impart necessary training, conduct H&S Committee Meetings and recommend to all departments preventive measures required, conduct drills for different scenarios etc. He also maintains accident / incident statistics and assists in Accident / incident investigation done by the concerned department. Please advice. warm regards Raj
