Have you taken into consideration new and expectant mothers? You may be required to offer them suitable alternative daytime work; or if that is not reasonable suspend her from work, on paid leave, for as long as is necessary to protet her health and safety and that of her child.

Information regarding good sleeping patterns and conditions, maintaining healthy eating habits, managing family routines within a shift/night work pattern are all very important to the physical well-being of workers. As a shift worker I know that it can take a long time to adjust to any disruptive work pattern so by presenting plenty of good helpful advice on things that the individual can take control of can mean they are more able to cope with the routine and can be less stressed by it and better eqiupped to handle it.
