Posted By Andy Byers I am shortly to take part in an exercise scenario about a tanker oil spillage off a tourist coastal area. Does anyone have any procedures, including risk assessments for a clean up operation. I don't wish to reinvent the wheel and would appreciate any guidance. Thanks in anticipation, Andy

Posted By Ed Carter Andy, I'm not sure if they would share, but I know Lancashire's Emergency Planning Office have the sort of material you want. E-mail me direct and I'll let you have their contact details, so that you can ask. Ed

Posted By Ewan Ross Andy Try speaking to Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) in Southampton or Briggs marine in Aberdeen. They are both specialists in this area.
