Hi
Wondering if anybody can give advice or help me with current concern.

I need to perform a risk assesment and coshh assessment before carrying out this work, does anybody have expertise in this area or happen to have an assessment that I could ponder over to assist my basic knowledge.

Was wondering also if any one happens to have a adjusted coshh assessment for biological risks.

Any help would be most welcome

I have a risk assessment - somewhere - from my old company that I did some years ago, if and when I find it I'll let you know.

However you might try having a look through HSG 70 "The control of legionellosis including legionnaires disease" which I found very helpful at the time. I have a copy - if you want me to send you one on please email me direct with your details.

HSG70 no longer exists - it was superseeded by L8, which is an ACOP combining the relevant parts of HSWA, COSHH and MHSWR. It should tell you all you need to know about Legionella risk assessment.

Kind regards

Nick
