Posted By Steve Holliday Can anyone forward to me a Workplace Transport Risk Assessment for a single site operation. HGV's, FLT's etc are all present, althogh separated from the car park and non-logistics pedestrains by a fenced area. Anything that has passed close scrutiny from an enforcement officer would be especially valuable. Whilst a risk assessment has been completed and all significant hazards dealt with, I am struggling to record this in a suitable way, as our current risk assessment paperwork lends itself more to specific tasks. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks Steve

Posted By Paul Craythorne Steve, I too found risk assessment forms a little restrictive when dealing with a transport risk assessment so I carried out the exercise and recorded the assessment in the form of a report highlighting all potential hazards and the level of risk. The report included a list of recommended corrective/preventive actions to deal with each issue raised and prioritised the work. Don't get too hung up on forms, they are not the definitive method for recording an assessment. Regards, Paul Craythorne

Posted By Steve Sedgwick Steve I agree with Paul, you could do an excellent risk assessment by studying the area with a driver and Dept Manager. Then write down your significant risks and the further risk reduction measures in a report or set of minutes. I do though have a form that I knocked up recently for FLT routes that I will send you. Regards Steve
