I can only speak for myself - I joined it in late 1996 or early 1997. I was contacted by three companies in early 1997 (excellent clients then and still have them as clients several years later), when there were not that many consultants on the list.

Since then there has been no contact at all from any other companies via that source.

Is it £50 well spent? From my point of view it was an initial excellent investment which got the Consultancy off the ground with three blue chip clients.

If you are looking for a constant stream of work the best has been (is) Yellow Pages. For an investment of something like £1500 a year as a sole source of advertising it can't be beaten.
