Can anyone tell me where I can obtain videos on such disasters as Piper Alpha and Kings Cross? I've seen them often enough, but I would really like copies for some training I am involved in.

Try www.bbcstudies.com and conduct a search for the title you are after.
They sell the well-known Spiral to Disaster series including Piper Alpha ( £125 ) Kings Cross ( Beneath the Flames ), etc. They also do some older titles covering the Kegworth Air Crash, Fairford Mid Air Collision, Ayrton Senna Fatal accident - All excellent for illustrating root cause analysis.

The Emergency Planning College put several clips onto one video entitled 'Disaster Management - Is there a need?' at a very modest price. I'm not sure whether it is still available, but my copy has a label 'Distributed by Ken Robinson Associates tel 01904 763529'
