Posted By Kevan Horne Can anyone point me to a resource for what would be included in a written system for rescuing persons from roofs. I am not specifically looking for rescue from fall arrest equipment, but this would be interesting and may need to be included.

Posted By Leslie E Hulings Dear Kevin, Suggest you speak to your local fire brigade, they normally have access to specialists within the brigade who are adept at this type of rescue. They will need to visit site to discuss. Having had the discussion with the brigade you could then include the rescue procedure in your RA, ensuring the time to arrive at site is covered due to the danger of severe trauma occuring the longer persons are suspended. Hope this helps

Posted By Steve Sedgwick Agreed, leave it to he Fire brigade "unless the roof in question is isolated and not easily accessible to the Fire Brigade". Steve
