Posted By Tony Strong Good afternoon all, can anyone help? I have been asked to produce a method statement for the removal of mild steel grills ( 80-95kg) from the skylite in a classroom, I am not allowed on the roof and have to remove from within the classroom. Any tools considered. If anybody has an example of something they may have used in the past I would be very grateful. Can you send to Lozbjh@aol.com Thanks Tony

Posted By Chris Abbott Can't e-mail at the moment. Hi Tony, not sure if this is what you're after, but try this. This may be of some help when developing your Method Statement. Lifting Procedures http://www.hse.gov.uk/hi...comah/level3/5c98b85.htm Regards Chris

Posted By Alan Barthrope Sounds like this is out of your league. Employ a competent Contractor to undergo this simple operation. One who has experience of this type of work, including the necessary access equipment and any lifting appliances/equipment
