Posted By Barry Cooper Not being an expert on the above regulations, would sprinkler systems come under the regs. I assume that the pump units will be covered and the electrical controls will come under Electrical equipment supply regs. Does anyone have a procedure for meeting the requirements of the regulations Regards Barry

Posted By Neil Pearson The key to this is a purchasing policy, to ensure that needs for machinery, electrical equipment etc are subject to an assessment of the relevant product law. Sprinkler systems as a whole would not come under the Supply of Machinery Regs - its the parts that make up the system that you need to control.
