Posted By Bill Elliott Reg 17 of the Workplace regs is that which requires the marking of traffic routes - part V of Schedule 1 of the Safety Signs & Signals Regs requires those markings to take the form of a continuous line, preferably yellow or white taking into account the background colour. (taken from L64 Guidance on Safety Signs Regs page 19. para 56)
