Following on from my previous thread dated 181203 (safety climate request) and continuing with my research into safe behaviour and human factors, in order to influence safety culture:
Can anybody help me out with an example of a behavioural safety management system i.e. a scheme/process/programme in place that is aimed at improving employee behaviour. A 'goal setting and feedback pogramme'.
These type of programmes have been mostly devised by consultants, who, from my experience of researching, are generally unwilling to allow free access to copies.
I am a safety advisor within the manufacturing industry, currently studying the NTU Diploma in SHE Management.
Again, if anyone is able to help me out it would be most appreciated.
thanks,
Chris Thompson

Chris,
try the publication "changing minds" on the Step Change website, link:
http://step.steel-sci.or...main_publications_fs.htm
and look under "behaviours"
Although a guidance document it might provide some useful background info.. Good luck with the course!

Chris,
Contact Du Pont with regard to their STOP programme. It is a behavioural based health and safety programme that they have developed and implemented across their organisation and now sell on to other interested organisations.
