Posted By Lesley Hibberson In relation to trainees on work-based learning placements, H&S assessments have to be completed on/within work areas prior to placement, ensuring the trainees are being placed in safe and healthy environments. In this particular case, these are hospital/ healthcentre environments doing medical assistant training (not privy to specific training details unfortunately). Besides checking that relevant insurance covers, safety policy and procedures and necessary H&S regulations are in place, would like to know if there are any specific safety issues within these environments that should be considered. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
