Posted By Donna Fisken Sometime ago I am sure I saw an article in SHP (or equivalent) in connection with new legislation/directive coming into force to do with disposing of waste electrical equipment.
I cannot for the life of me now find the article in question and am looking for further information on any necessary requirements for getting rid of old laptop batteries, UPS batteries, toners, monitors, etc.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Much appreciated.

Posted By Neal Robertson Donna, just a thought:
I get rid of all my toner and inkjet cartridges, along with mobile phones and accessories by giving them to a charity (Childrens Hospice Appeal Scotland in our case). I`ve had requests from other charities looking for this kind of thing, also computer bits etc.
I could flog them to a company like Office Green but would rather donate the proceeds to something worthwhile
Regards
