Does anyone know how the NEBOSH Diploma is regarded by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority?

Has anyone made the move to New Zealand to work in Health and Safety. I have corporate membership of IOSH and loads of experience in the UK, but how would how much weight would that carry over there?

I have a friend who is doing very well in NZ with the NEBOSH dip and BSC Dip -

Unlike in the UK it is what you CAN do rather than what you say you can do that counts in NZ.

Experience is very highly regarded unlike in the UK where 'reality' experience etc is a distant second to academic areas.

Give it a go
