Posted By Darryl Can anyone tell me if a dumper truck which is only used on private land still requires roll over protection and a seat belt, I beleive it does but i need some type of confirmation.If it requires it does the rops have to be at a set CE standard?Thanks

Posted By Ken Taylor If it is used by a person at work (as opposed to private use) you need ROP if there is a risk of injury from rolling over and personal restraint (eg seatbelt) if there is a risk of a crushing injury from rolling over. This will require risk assessment taking into account the nature of the land, the use to which the truck is put, etc.
