Posted By Keith Gorman Does anybody know where i can get a copy of a risk assessment covering smoking at work? I am currently updating our office smoking policy but have been unable to find a good quality assessment. I did not want to carry out a very basic (5 steps) assessment, I wanted to try and delve a little deeper, as Smoking in the workplace appears to be high on the agenda at the moment.

Posted By Peter John Campbell Quill Dear Keith You could try http://www.ash.org.uk/ which publishes numerous facts and figures, as well as workplace specific information, and may give you what you are looking for. We went smoke free a few years ago, and have never looked back. It is a touchy subject, and consultation will be as important as any risk assessment you carry out. Best regards, Peter

Posted By Ken Taylor It may not be 'good quality', but I have e-mailed you a copy of our generic RA for passive smoking - which may be of some help.
