Posted By Neil George Any problems in allowing an enthusiastic colleague, who has a broken leg fully enclosed in plaster, back into the workplace, - a "desk job" within a Learning Centre in a college? Even if "signed off" by a doctor?

Posted By Kelvin George Neil YES. You never ever go against a doctor's note, unless of course you yuorself are qualified to give a proffesional opinion. For Example - your enthusiastic employee falls and breaks his neck whilst at work. He could sue you up hill and down dale. What excuse would you use in court - "Sorry M'lord but he said he wanted to work" Don't do it - tell him to enjoy his sick leave, send him a get well soon card, meet him down the pub for drinks, but don't let him back to work until the doctor says it's ok. Cheers Kelvin

Posted By Thomas Kennedy We've just been looking at fire evacuation arrangements for staff and visitors with disabilities within a building. Think about how you will get your person out.
