Does anyone know of or have any good training material to help out with the delivery of courses for staff dealing with members of the public? Any help much appreciated.

Regards,
Ian

We have used the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, on a number of occasions, to deliver this type of training. They do also offer a range of literature which you may be able to use.

Have a look at

Hi Ian,
I manage "Complete Intervention Training". We specialise in the provision of training in conflict resolution / managing challenging behaviour. We cover everthing -e.g. policy and procedure development, difusion / diversion strategies, personal safety and evaluation to name just a few.

We also provide accredited training for in-house instructors which would probably be your best strategy if you have many staff to train. We design the courses around the needs of the customer (i.e. bespoke courses).

For more info please contact us on 01926 887776 or email alan.parfrey@completecare-warks.co.uk.

Either way good luck
Alan
