Posted By margaretconlon I work in an industry, where the need for vibration is an essential for producing a high quality product. This gives rise to personnel standing on machines for given periods of time while vibration occurs. What measures, beyond personnel rotation can be taken to reduce personeel exposure Thanks

Posted By Stuart Nagle Margaret What would be your response to an engineering solution, say an independant platform that does not vibrate (i.e. not afixed to the vibrating machine) that would enable the employee to remain in the same position. In the longer term this would appear to be the most satisfactory solution to your problem.

Posted By Gavin Barr You can also try, reduced vibration mounts for the machines and reduced time exposoure. But the first thing would be to investigate the amount of vibration to find if it is putting people above the exposure level set by the HSE. (This can be found on the HSE web site) Regards Gavin
