Posted By Vincent Fagan Could someone please tell me where, or how I might find out how many people might be allowed into a room, under fire regulations? What is the most recent legislation that applies? I read somewhere that the 1971 FPA applies but what is the most recent? Is there a site on the net that can help me? All helpful comments widely appreciated. Thanks Vincent

Posted By Nicholas Williams Vincent I have found that http://www.fire.org.uk/home.htm has an on-line occupancy calculator. Howver BS 5599 part 11 gives an occupancy table table . An online version of Building Regs Approved Document B is available at http://www.odpm.gov.uk/s...dpm_index.hcst?n=247&l=3 The occupancy tables are in there at Page 16 (ish) Rgds nick
