Would anyone know whether there is a belt available on the market for holding trimmer knives as our employees do not like putting them in their pockets when not in use.

Hi Melanie,
A quick visit to B&Q should show you that some of the better quality "Stanley" knives (the more expensive ones...) come with a leather holster that can be fitted on any belt.

Melanie,
have you considered an alternative safety knife, such as one with a spring loaded retractable blade.
Basically when you take your thumb off the button the blade retracts inside the handle, thus eliminating knives with blades extended in shirt / trouser pockets.
There are some on the market, not sure if it would be construed as advertising if I put the name on this site though.
