Posted By Nigel Price I believe a private vehicle can can be considered a "place of work" when claiming business mileage, with all the usuall H&S implications. Is there any case law where this has been used in a prosecution against a company?

Posted By James Dobson I agree with your comments. Any vehicle is classed as work equipment. Their is a piece of case law relating to a postman who had an injury while using his own motorised scooter for work. I am afraid I do not know any more details than that.
