Posted By Ian Lynch Can any one please tell me if there is a legal requirement to have rotating beacons on all constroction plant such as excavators etc I cant find any thing that say there is except when on a public highway

Posted By Martin Daly You can not legally use revolving yellow lights on construction vehicals unless they are working on an airport. This is because the UK signed up to a legally binding international convention that stated that green lights could only be used by medics. Yellow lights airports etc This law is never enforced unless you try it with a blue light. And you should not be deterred from using such beacons. Good Luck Martin Daly
