Training Videos for Persons with Hearing Difficulties

Posted By Alison Gillings Anyone out there aware of training tools such as videos which can be used for persons with hearing difficulties.
I am basically searching for fire awareness at work and manual handling.
I am hoping somewhere there is a company who can supply such videos with subtitles or on screen signing.
Thank you
Ali

Posted By Jimmy Hi Ali, I'm not sure if such a product exists, but, if you consider installation of a "deaf loop" system in the lecture room, this is "normally" adequate for to enable hearing in lecture rooms. They are very common, and not expensive, and can be installed and commissioned easily. Hope this helps.

Posted By Jim Walker Jimmy,
Problem is "induction coils" don't work for all.
Alison,
Some film companies will supply the script if you ask nicely. Otherwise generally you will find the deaf person will get enough out of the "silent film" to understand. Or you could lend them the tape to view at home so they can view at their own pace.
