Following on from a previous point that the msds may not always be reliable - here's part of the ecological information from one:

Degradation biotic: roodily biodegradable (clopoed bottle test)

Finch: acute toxicity, 96h-LC50 = 8.6 mg/l

Now it is from France, but even so I don't quite believe they measure an EC50 in finches!

Being metric, I thought the French would measure it in centipedes.

I now have this image of canaries swimming around in a tank of slightly toxic liquid.
