Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me where I can find guidelines or information on the safe transportation of empty portable gas cylinders.....what signage on vehicles is required, the amount allowed to carry before training kicks in etc...??
Much appreciated,
Emma.

Try the British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) 6 St Mary's St, Wallingford United Kingdom OX10 0EL Tel. 01491 825533 Fax 01491 826689
They have a list of guidance notes and codes of practice on their website (www.bcga.co.uk). You have to pay for most of them, but if you have access to 'Technical Indexes OHSIS' they publish copies.
Hope this helps,
Mick

I am the DGSA for Air Products plc
The Regulations can be complicated and depend on how many cylinders, of what, vehicle size, etc. etc.
Email me some details and I will try to help
Cheers
Mike
