We have just employeed two special needs adults (limited mental ability), and I would appreciate guidance on considerations in the risk assessments.

Arrange a meeting with their carers they should be able to provide any infomation on the client.

If they have come from a care home ask to contact ex-Key workers or any social service worker who may have worked with them.

Even with all the above I would consider a buddy system for a period of time to ensure safety to understand how they react to work and how your workforce interacts with them.
