Posted By Sean Fraser My initial response is that they have a try & buy programme - try it out as part of your evaluation and ensure you test it in relation to any safety concerns you may have (i.e. emergency stops, manoeuvering around obstacles, different floor conditions etc.). There is a safety video that goes with it so that needs viewed before anyone gets onto it! Impressive series of logos on the site - one assumes that they have been contacted and agreed to what appears to be their tacit endorsement. Also, the video clips identify the organisation they were taken in. And it looks fun too!

Posted By Karen Todd Don't know, but when I was at Munich airport I saw an employee on a scooter (I don't mean a mopehead, I mean a flat platform with wheels and a handle that you propel with one foot). He was sailing all over departures on it, doing more showing off than doing his work and I wondered if he'd been given it by his employer to improve efficiency; or whether he'd brought it in himself.
