Posted By Dave Wynn We are currently writing a procedure for the removal & disposal of dead animals from the carriageway. There are a number of issues which we are seeking clarification particularly: PPE requirements ie bio hazards/disease vaccination regimes Suitable disposal of remains ie are they biological waste? Some Local authorities deep freeze cats & dogs retrieved to allow the owners time to claim the remains, we are not however over keen on cryogenics! I am concerned as to whether we can simply "pop" them into landfill. All constructive comments are very welcome.

Posted By Danny Swygart You could check if you have a local animal crematorium and whether they incinerate road kill.
