Posted By Karen Todd Hello David, Many expert witnesses are chartered engineers with quite a few of those also being MIOSH (a lethal combination me thinks). I would also expect the expert witness to have a fair amount of experience in the relevant area, e.g. a FLT expert witness could have been an insurance company surveyor or a training instructor.
