Afternoon all,
Does anyone have a worked example or a checklist for a risk assessement on an ornamental water fountain? I have the main headers of slips/trips/falls, drowning, struck against, legionella, maintenance, but there are sure to be other which I need! Many thanks in advance, Andrew

Andrew,
It seems strange to have a risk assessment on an "ornament". How is it going to be "used"? Are the great unwashed simply going to admire it?
Looking at other recent replies on this forum it might be best to barrier it off, get everyone who comes within 100 yards (I know it should be metres - it shows my age), to wear goggles (except children of course) and finally turn the water off - just in case.
Thinking logically, you'd better knock it down, dig a hole, bury the bits and let kids play football there.
Not very helpful I know - but I didn't sleep well last night, sorry.
Mark
