Posted By Robert S Woods I am looking for a manual handling solution/mechanical aid for loading objects inside a wagon/trailer body. The objects come in various shapes and weights. Can anyone help?

Posted By Danny Swygart You could use a mobile loading ramp to allow a forklift or compact loading shovel to drive into the back of the trailer. Difficult to suggest solutions without more info on what you are handling and what type of vehicles you are loading (e.g. type of doors, enclosed container or bulker etc.). Danny.

Posted By Robert S Woods It's items of furniture that are being moved. They are stacked into a wagon body in the reverse order that they are dropped off. The furniture is stacked floor to ceiling. Initially the furniture is lifted into the back of the wagon body with a FLT. They have tried palletising the load but the wagon cannot be filled which makes it finacially unviable.

Posted By Danny Swygart You could try contacting the H&S Officer of a removals company like Pickfords for advice.

Posted By Robert S Woods Done that and contacted other companies in the same or similar industries. If a solution is found then it could be worth quite a tidy sum.
