Posted By Ron Hunter Generally speaking, if you monitor your employees to ensure that work practices are routinely carried out in accordance with training, the activity is something they do on very frequent basis, and nothing else changes (e.g. basic philosophy on people handling techniques), what then is the value or requirement for refresher training? It isn't always mandatory! I'm more troubled in instances such as First Aid Training, where I can obtain a certificate of competence, not practice it at all for three years, yet still be considered 'competent' by the enforcing authorities!
