Posted By Sean Fraser Does anyone know of safety training providers in Glenrothes and/or Bristol who are capable of covering the following - Basic First Aid - General H&S Awareness - Disc cutting - Working at heights, especially mobile alloy towers, and - Entry and Working in Confined Spaces? We have teams of installation personnel based in both locations who we normally drag all the way up to Aberdeen in the frozen north and I am keen to reduce the travelling if at all possible. I'll be doing a google & SHP search anyway but if anyone can suggest trainers to contact I'd appreciate it.

Posted By Ciaran McAleenan Sean Expert Ease International can provide trainers for most of your requirements; We have a General H&S awareness program (modular format) that can run from 1 to 3 days depending on how many of the modules you need. We have a range of heights programs and we run a complete suite of confined spaces training programs from manager to operator as well as train the trainer courses. As alternative given the geography, you could consider e-training and we can deal with all of your topics on that. Contact: Philip for more details on 028 44613383 or expertease@confinedspaces.com Regards Ciaran

Posted By Sean Fraser Thank you to everyone who has contributed by posting on the forum or through direct email - I will review the various options and recommend accordingly. Must say I was surprised there weren't more options in Bristol itself, but there are several in Wales within a 50 mile radius so looking at those too. Tanks again everyone!

Posted By Fiona Potter Hi Sean I work in partnership with a company out of Wellingborough, Northants which provides the training you require. i would say this is approx a 3 hour journey from Bristol (A bit closer that Aberdeen) If you want to have a chat speak to Ian Smith on 01933 229666, because they are mainly involved with the rail industry, the office is know as "Rail House" so do not think you have got to the wrong place. Hope to speak with you soon Fiona Potter

Posted By Kevin West Our Head Office is in Caerphilly, an hour from Bristol and we will train on your site (numbers permitting). In addition, National Britannia have Training specialists (many of whom, who have attended the IOSH Training Providers Forum and have learned Accelerated Learning Techniques)who are located throughout England , Wales and Scotland and as such are 'local' to every area. This is particularly useful for multi-site organisations as the need to find different organisations to provide training in different locations is removed, therefore, ensuring consistency. For more information, please call me on 07712 658 518 or email me: kevin_west@natbrit.com Kevin West
