my company is in the motor vehicle maintenance/repair business with outlets in Spain. Can anyone let me know where I can obtain some good sources of information in relation to safety standards for this type of industry. Thanks

not much help but after visiting spain this year and looking at the standards on their construction sites I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Surely as fellow members of the European Union they are subject to the same Health & Safety legislation as the rest of us?

I would recommend using a consultancy called ENHESA - visit their website www.enhesa.com for info.
You'll see they specialise in the type of services you're looking for. I've used them.
Don't be put off by the fact they're based in Belgium - they do work all in the UK, Europe and the Rest.
